Many outfitters & even clients neglect to give the same amount of attention to the taxidermy & delivery of your trophies as they do to all other aspects of the Safari. This is not the case with JKO Safaris. We understand that ruined taxidermy work can spoil the best of Safaris.

Most frequent questions and answers

Depending on what you would wish to do taxidermy wise, for example, if it is only dip and pack, not so much compared to having the mounting done in Africa. We can recommend several taxidermists that we have been working with over the years. Any of them can give you a very close estimate on what the mounting and shipping or dip and pack will cost. The cost highly depends on how many animals you have taken during your safari and of course the way they will be mounted.

It all depends on the number of animals you took on your safari with us and how they will be mounted. We can arrange a shipping estimate for you based on the number of animals in your initial package booked with us before your safari starts. Please note that these prices are all subject to change due to fuel pricing, exchange rates etc. but it will give you a good idea on what it would cost you to ship back your animals.

No, it is not included in your hunting package. We are always happy to offer you several choices of taxidermies we have been working with over the years. We can also provide pricing and information on them.

The delivery of your trophies to the taxidermist is included from any of our areas across South Africa and included in all packages.

The timeframe on taxidermy work is anywhere from 8-14 months.

You do your payment directly to the taxidermy and not through JKO Hunting Safaris.
